NO MORE DRAMA!!!!!!

Is this too much to ask for?

Let me tell you how I spent the better part of this evening.

Well I am still vehicle challenged. So I had to avail myself to public transit.
Which, if you take into consideration that it only cost 1.00 for the privilege of being drop off at the closet stop near you. Not to bad. Since gas is almost $3.00 per gallon
I have a friend who parks her car in a garage and walks further than I do, just to get to work.

Anyway,
I walked into my house and my daughter says. Mommy your son has a problem.
I thinking damn, I have not even made it in the door good.

She proceeds to tell me that my son has something stuck in his ear.

Yes that’s right his ear.

I say to the 9 year old, what do you have in your ear.

He mumble something
So I ask again, what’s in your ear and he inform me that he has a piece of shoe in his ear.
Yes that right shoe

He picked at the soul of his gym shoes and pulled off a piece of rubber substance and decided to stick it in his ear.

Why you ask

Because he was bored.

Yes, this is the same child who cost me $100.00 for a fart.

Now I have to pay another $100.00 because he was bored and decided to stick a piece of shoe in his ear.

So after spending 3and ½ hours in the emergency room.
I am tired and I am going to bed. If I am lucky I might make it to the end of the week with out any other problems.

I put the piece of shoe rubber in a little bottle on my fireplace mantle.
With any luck the 9 year old will not forget how stupid he felt when he had to explain what he did and why. Hopefully he will not do it again.

My eight-year-old got bored once and put plastic beads from a Beeny Baby in his ear.

I didn't know about this.

I noticed over a few weeks that he's not hear what I'm saying. So I decided it's time to clean his ears. I suringe his ear and comes bead number 1. Then came #'s 2, 3, and 4.

This is the same child that is a year ahead in school and studies classical violin. And he stuck beads in his ear...because he thought it and so he did it.

Children are grand.

I asked my little princess if she would EVER think to stick a piece of shoe in her ear and she looked at me like I was crazy. Why would she ever do such a stupid thing?

That's when I told her, "Boys are different, honey." (thank god!)

diva out.
