Oh my, so much has happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my mother has arrived.
And that’s all that I have to say about that.
For now.

.NO POWER
Now let me take you back to the day of her arrival. That’s where is all started.
My mother flew in to Fort Lauderdale airport. On the 23rd of June.
I of course was running late. I had a serious case of CPT.
But I was not the only one, so was the airline.
For the most part it was uneventful. Ok I lied
While I am on my was to pick up my mother, I call home to check on my children.
My nephew informs me that FPL was at our house today and now we have no power.
AAES had decided to order some kind of of surge protection that they were offering.
Just to make sure that if a storm come all of our electronics would be protected.
Well I figure that if FPL was there then we would have power soon.
So I go about my business of picking up my mother and head home.
I arrive home at about 7:30 and guess what I still had no power.
And I was not going to get any, anytime soon. The power company had cut the power cable to the house.
This was of course after the shorted out my meter box.
They then informed my 15 year old nephew that there was nothing that they could do, and they left.
Well AAES arrived home about the same time that I did
And to say that he was upset would be an under statement.
He proceed to get on the phone and call FPL and find out what the HELL is going on and when will we have power.
He is informed that well since the meter is connect to the house , FPL is not responsible for the damage that was done, even thought they broke it.
So here we sit in the dark, me my diabetic mother and two television starved children.
And of course AAES
And it is the funniest thing, he is storming around the house, screaming at the power company, yelling at the kids and trying to figure out how much money he has to get a hotel room for the night.
But when it come to my mother, he stops in the middle of his tirade and says ever so calmly
“are you alright Ms. Harris”
Once she say yes, he proceeds to rant and rave.
Because Mr. AAES can not be hot. He needs AC.

It is a good thing that he has friends, one who just so happens to be an electrician.
We had power by 10pm that night.
